The historic monastery of Panagia Eikonistria, founded in 1741, is located very close to the Forest Resort Suites. The annual feast of the monastery is at the Entrance of the Theotokos on November 21st. Shortly before arriving at the monastery, you can visit the Skiathos dog welfare association (Dog Shelter) and participate in various activities of the animal welfare association (feeding, walking, adoption, donations).
Also Mandraki beach, framed by a rare pine forest with golden sand, tavern and minimal sunbeds, is very close to our Suites.
Below we find the picturesque and quiet coves of Elia, Xerxes and Agistros, where one is impressed by the beautiful and peaceful landscape, the seclusion and the crystal clear beaches. The easiest access is by car or motorcycle, otherwise through the beach of Agia Eleni.
At the end of the road is the organized beach of Aselinos with fine pebbles and sand, where you can enjoy your swim and dine at the tavern. On the beach of Aselinos, there are also routes to and from the port of Skiathos by boat.
On the other side of the road is the organized beach of Troulos and at the end of the road is the famous beach of Koukounaries, where are many watersports, routes to and from the port of Skiathos by boat, sun beds for rent, organized beach bar, where one can enjoy the coffee or its food as well as various music events.
At a distance of 500 meters from our Suites, there are many restaurants, snack bars and supermarkets, where one can dine or stock up on essentials.
